Morris Minor Handmade Card

I've recently finished a new design of Morris Minor card - this one's just the outline of a post 1954 Moggie with 4 doors.

 

It's handstiched in black thread on cream aida and mounted in a card which is blank inside. Ideal for framing or sending greetings to someone.

 

Our range of handmade cards and pictures are all made by me in my 'spare time', the profit from the sale of these is going in a special fund to pay for the maintenace on our own Morris Minor.

Love The London Bus?

When we think of London buses, we think of bright red buses, most notably the rear entry Routemaster. Although production of these buses ceased in 1968, we have a great selection of giftware for these classic modes of public transport.

Handmade Gifts

 I like to do cross-stitch when watching TV or listening to the radio so I've now begun making classic cars in cross stitch, which make great pieces of wall art. So far I've done Morris Minors & a red Mini and I'm currently working on a different Mini design in blue.

They each take about 10 hours work and I'm only charging £1.25 for each design so will make reasonably priced gifts, once you've added your own frame.

If you want to turn them into a greeting card, we can even supply the card.

Austin Cambridge

New this week is a postcard for an early Austin Cambridge. I'm sure that a lot of people think of the Cambridge as the square car from the 1960's, but did you know that an earlier model was available in the 1930's. Featured here is the model from 1937, available as a printed postcard.

Goodbye Fabio!

We can't pretend that we're not delighted that the England Football Manager, Fabio Capello, has resigned. We wish him well in his next position and hope that the Football Association will appoint an Englishman to the job.

Snowman

Our next door neighbours made a large snowman yesterday (he's about 5 feet tall) as we had a large amount of snow overnight. So when one of our customers purchased the Ariel and the Snowman card, we couldn't help but compare them.

Ours is by Trevor Mitchell and features children building a snowman watched by the rider of an Ariel motorcycle. At least this one isn't losing his nose!
